Walking Mt Treppass in Pukekohe
Just behind Philip & Emma's house is an excellent walk which starts as aboardwalk over some swampy land, then rises steeply through a littlepatch of forest. The path then switchbacks up to the summit of MtTreppass where one can enjoy 360 degree views of Pukekohe from therotunda there. MB is now just about able to do the whole walk upwithout stopping, good practice for walking Mt Taranaki, near NewPlymouth, where the pair are heading to tomorrow for a few days.
